Cathie wood and ARK Invest has been so popular lately and people are asking if its a good idea to invest in ARK Invest ETF. I will talk to you about exactly what I think about ARK Invest ETF and Cathie Wood. I will also tell you if its a good idea to be investing in Ark Invest ETF.

Two points, Jeremy: 1) ARK operates differently than traditional ETFs; they are focused on disruptive growth companies, which is something no one has really done before. I don't think we're likely to see the same trend with them. 2) Every person on the planet has limited bandwidth. I have destroyed the market on EV stocks, batteries, lithium (things in my wheelhouse that I'm interested in and study daily), but have NO IDEA what I'm doing in other fields like genomics. It makes sense to let people who study that handle that portion of my money for me. You can't do everything yourself, just like you don't singlehandedly raise your kid. You CHOSE someone competent to help you with that endeavor.

I sold off most of my ancillary stocks and just kept my big convictions (Tesla, Google, NIO, FB, Apple, etc, .) and the rest of my investment went into ARKK, ARKG, ARKF, ARKW.

I just opened my position in ARKK last month. It's about 1-2% of my (modest) portfolio and looking to raise to 10% this year.

Hey Jeremy so you said you wouldn't get Warren Buffet to invest your money but you bought Berkshire Hathaway which is exactly that. I know he put his investments in a business form instead of an ETF but really wants the difference?

You're exactly right man. When you do your DD, and you can hit 100% and follow it up the next year with 180% gains, knowing none of that money came from ETFs but your own hard work, the gratification cannot be priced. My confidence has soared in the last 2 years because of this exact philosophy.
