I didn't know what a double factorial was, but it seems to me that your definition of double factorial has a problem. We are supposed to stop at 1, but any even number n will never reach 1. You indeed put 1 for n=6, but that 1 does not follow your sequence. Shouldn't your definition simply say up to 2 or 1?

Up to this problem and a related problem involving 8!!!, I had never encountered n!! or n!!!. I did some research and found out what n!! or n!!! means and it is way different from (n!)!. n!! means you go down 2 at a time until you get to 1. n!!! means you go down 3 at a time until you get to 1. Example: 9!!! = 9 x 6 x 3 x 1. 9!! = 9 x 7 x 5 x 3 x 1.

If I use the básic solución I could deduce that 720/720! = 1/719! And the answer could be aproximatly 0. The problem may be that I do not know the concept exactly of n!!

Before watching:

x! = (x)(x-1)(x-2)...(2)(1).
x!! = (x)(x-2)(x-4)...(4)(2).

bearing this in mind, 6! is 6*5*4*3*2*1, and 6!! is 6*4*2. Dividing 6! by 6!! will see our 6, 4, and 2 cancel out on top and bottom, leaving us with 5*3*1, aka 15.

This notation annoys me. n!! should mean (n!)!. So many other options for the other meaning; ! with a superscript, for example.

3!! = 6*5*4*3*2*1 = 720
It's not 3!! = 3(3-2) = 3
