I really admire your bird's style of dismissing you: "let's say goodbye.... goodbye <3" With love and disrespect all at once 😂

I can't dance now without hearing shuffling, squeaks, and perfectly placed farts. Thank you Jaime, take a bow.

I busted out laughing when she said “these three girls sound like a choir of 30 people” 😂 OMG they totally did

The movie trope where there's a moment when a group is not doing great, then a friend dies, then they all of a sudden have a boost of confidence/talent so they can win whatever...I call it the "let's do it for Shorty!" moment.

“Little Gup Gup” 🥰😭 literally the cutest thing I’ve seen in years. Your bird is so polite. More polite than 99% of human beings I know. Birds are the best people.

Stop it! When you threw the sweater to Channing, my jaw Your edits are always amazing, but I can’t handle how smooth that was

I love that by the time the sequels came around they were just like “Ok nobody’s here for the plot, we’ll just do really good dancing scenes” and they were right. I don’t remember the plots of ANY of the sequels.

Favorite part of this video: “Why in the acid reflux does he need that much orange juice?” 😂 I felt that reflux 100%. 🥵

Fun facts: This film was made in Baltimore Maryland. I was working for a large hotel at the time and we were The Host Hotel for the actors and the Production Studio for the movie Step Up. Keep in mind that no one knew who Channing Tatum was at the time. His co-star, Jenna Dewan, and him had actually met on set. Through their three months at the hotel they developed a relationship. But my main reason for posting this is that Jenna Dewan has got to be one of the nicest people I have ever dealt with in my entire life. I've worked in the hotel business for 20 years and believe me I've seen all kinds of people. I saw Karen's before there were Karen's. However I would see Jenna everyday she would always say hello to me when she was standing in the lobby waiting for her ride to the set, she would sit at my desk and we would talk, and she was so sweet and so nice and I just fell in love with her. I did not know who she was as an actress. Channing on the other hand must be a method actor because I would see him almost every day but he would come down from his room dressed exactly like his character in the movie Step Up. He'd have the sideways baseball cap, he'd have on the gray sweatpants the baggy t-shirt the headphones were always in he didn't talk to anybody he just stood in the lobby and it was weird, like I don't even know what to say, I kind of got a bad feeling about him and ever since then I never really liked to watch his movies. He ended up marrying Jenna and then they had a daughter and now they're divorced but she still as beautiful as ever and to this day when I think about my career I have fond memories of her being really one of the nicest people I've ever met.

As a dancer, the whole “I can lift flawlessly because I’m jacked” drives me insane 😂 muscles mean nothing if you don’t have technique or training. I’ve worked with several people who just try to force their partners into the air and it just makes me twitch that people think this is a thing🤪

Omg it's fate that you're reviewing this, I rewatched this movie literally a couple of nights ago and I was crying at how this grown man was supposed to be portraying a high schooler 😭

I need to draw attention to the fact that that green screen dance scene is absolute high quality perfection and you freaking slayed that. THE SWEATER

"Why in the Acid Reflux does he need that much orange juice."

And that's the moment I lost it and laughed so hard my husband woke up a little 🤣

I remember LOVING this movie as a teenager. I tried rewatching it recently and it doesn’t hold up at all. I think I fell asleep in the middle of it. That ending dance scene though is still fire.

I remember making every step up movie my entire personality. My addiction to dance moms didn’t help. I could not dance and I had no business wearing baggy pants and leggings under shorts

Fun story when Step Up 2 came out I was 13 and I went to the movies with my first boyfriend (17 yikes) and his friend. When we came out of the movies my bf acted like it was the most life changing movie he had ever seen, he turned up some 2000s rap and said “I JUST WANA DANCE” and was krumping in the driver seat while driving. He pulled over into the Walmart parking lot, turned the music up really loud and him and his friend who had probably never danced in their lives started trying to dance like in the movie. He was a real winner, he ended up buying a tattoo machine and tattooed some of the worse tattoos you could ever see. Like the type of tattoos you would see on a list article “top 10 worst tattoos” like he did a Fox motocross logo on his neck with a gun on the other side and both were nearly unrecognizable. I could really go on about some really embarrassing and horrific stories relating to him 😩

“Good job… have a sweater.” That was so brilliant. Not only comically brilliant, but the editing was flawless.

All of your little edits are just pure gold. Something pops up at random and catches me off guard and the next thing you know I’m wiping tears from my eyes and my stomach hurts from laughing so dang hard 😂😂😂 Love you Jamie! You are literally the best ❤
