In today’s tutorial, I’m going to show you how to export the results of a command prompt command to a text file.

Saving a command prompt output to a text file allows you to share information with colleagues or technical support staff members when seeking help or troubleshooting your computer.

*To get started:*
1. Go into the Windows start bar, and type in “Command Prompt”, click on the Command Prompt application to open it up.
2. For today’s example, I’m going to run the "systeminfo" command, and export it to a text file. This command displays all of your computer's specs, and other technical information.
4. Now hit the enter button on your keyboard.

And it’s as easy as that, exporting your command prompt output to a text file is a fairly simple task to perform.

#commandprompt #cmd #textfile #windows10 #output
