Sunita Williams has been stuck in space for the past 5 months, and now even more challenges have come her way.

It’s clear that ever since Sunita Williams and Butch Wilmore went to space, their bodies have undergone significant changes.

In recent photos, Sunita Williams appears to be very weak.

However, a recent study has revealed that staying in space for such a long time also begins to affect astronauts’ brains.

Any astronaut who stays in space for 6 months experiences a decline in their ability to think and process information.

Although scientists have stated that this does not cause any permanent brain damage, astronauts return to normal once they come back to Earth.

But there is another problem as well.

Due to zero gravity and radiation exposure in space, our bone density decreases significantly.

To combat this, astronauts exercise for up to 2.5 hours a day.

Yet, recovery can still take years, and for now, NASA’s plan is to bring both astronauts back in February 2025.
