As a very happy owner of KC flex era 4… I see this as a difficult justification. It’s half the wattage of FE4 and nearly the same price. KC and Baja Designs have exceptional quality and honestly I trust them more than morimoto since I’ve used morimoto products going back 12 years now. Don’t get me wrong, they have always honored their warranty and been easy to deal with, but every single thing I’ve bought from them outside my led fogs that I rarely ever used had failed. Failed ballasts, HID bulbs with poor alignment and required shimming (stupidly difficult to do with installed headlights), failed blinker on XB Led Civic lights twice, stuck high beam solenoid on several different projectors.
.
I feel like they are asking for Baja Designs money and have yet to prove themselves as good.

One thing that's confusing is the power output of these lights, as explained in the *Tech Specs* on your site;

'Power' is listed as 20W, while the 'Intensity' is listed as 38, 850 Cd (Post Warm-Up) (384lux @ 10m). How does this compare to the uber-inexpensive 18w lights available on Amazon listed at only $29.99... for 4 of them?

The 'Amazon' lights are listed at 1260lm. So, how do you factor in Cd versus lumens versus wattage versus overall intensity?
Are these Off-Road Lights bright AF compared to others, or are you paying 15 to 20 times more for these lights because of their durability?

I would imagine that your site is compensated for advertisement and distribution of these lights... But, an actual side-to-side comparison of these versus the lights you can get off of Amazon or at your local Harbor Freights and Walmarts would definitely help us all decide whether they were really worth such an exorbitant investment.

EDIT: One of your older videos popped-up as a thumbnail suggestion later today and it explained quite a bit.

Still confused altogether about the whole brightness thing, though... Why can't things be simple like back in the day when lights were just rated by their *wattage* output?

Is it possible to mount a 1 or 2 banger to that same bracket to face toward the sides? I’m debating going with a diode dynamics kit because their bracket has that option. I’m trying to get better lighting near the front tires/edge of the road. I’ve been caught out on shelf roads after dark a couple of times.
