Friday's Forgotten: A weekly series that looks at a forgotten or rarely seen exercise, giving a short history and then performing the activity.
Episode 6: Drag Curls. In the 1940's and 50's Vince Gironda trained some of the top bodybuilders in the world and developed a unique training and nutritional program that had visible results. One of his better known exercises that has disappeared is the drag curl. The movement forces the bicep along with the coracobrachioradialis and the brachioradialis work more while significantly decreasing the use of the deltoid (shoulder).
