hey Awesome vid. quick question. i have a 2018 origin evo 17-s laptop and i need to replace the cmos but i have never seen a cmos battery like these and dont even know what they are called. looks smaller and is wrapped in plastic and has 2 small wires that attatch to motherboard coming out of it. any ideas? thx.

hey guys. I just upgraded the RAM on my lenovo y740 and is working smoothly. However, when i place the cover back, the keyboard starts going wild. For example, whenever I press the key "h" this comes up: +9egh}}p'} .

If I take the cover off, it's back to normal. I don't know what is causing it, since it's literally a piece of plastic.

Any ideas?? Any help is greatly appreciated

what did you use to remove the screws? ive tried like 6 diffrent smaller screwdrivers and none are able to unscrew them

Man, unscrewing those little screws…You made it looked so easy! Those things are so tightened, I don’t know if it’s because of them being heated or done it on purpose (to prevent people to do it themselves and make them to bring to service). Anyway, those lucky ones got them all open, remember not to tighten them back.

Any laptops with RTX series that have MXM upgradeable slots?
Maybe Clevo, Sagar, or AVA?
I just have noticed that all of these new gen laptops all have integrated GPU's.
Very unappealing to me.

I bought this laptop and I'm still waiting for it to ship. I ordered it with a 512 SSD NvME in it. I have another 512 SSD SATA from previous build. Will I be able to insert the SATA SSD I have in this unit along with the NvME drive?
