Ukraine claims Russia has attacked a dam and committed a war crime. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is convening his Security Council on Tuesday after an explosion at the Kakhovka hydroelectric dam in the south of the country. Satellite images released by Maxar from June 5, 2023 and May 28, 2023 show damage to the Kakhovka hydroelectric dam in southern Ukraine. The dam has been damaged before in the 15-month-long Ukraine Russia war.
