Very interesting how the current Portugal team has won the nations league and euro cup but not the World Cup. It’s also interesting how the current France team won the World Cup and nations league but not the euro cup. (Ik that they won it in 2000 but none of the players from then still play today for France). Now we have Spain with Jesus navas aka the current generation who has all 3 of these titles. Perhaps it was fate for Croatia to lose just this once so a player could get all these trophies.
Im honestly very bummed for them so i really hope Croatia win it next time or something else in the nearby future
