70 year old dude here, I am proud to say I seen these guys three times before the plane crash in 77 and I went to see the modern band in 2024 with Ronnie's brother singing keeping the music alive.... Best southern rock group ever....

Man, T for Texas live from Knebworth is absolutely fire. To take a 1920’s country/yodel song and turn into a smouldering southern rock epic was insane. The crowd looks like they were put in a slow boil.

This was during a rough patch. Guitarist Ed King left the band, so it was Gary Rossington and Allen Collins carrying the guitar work here. They would recoup and find another guitarist in Steve Gaines, who was backup singer Cassie Gaines' younger brother, and record One More From The Road (live) and Street Survivors, their last album before the tragic plane crash.

You should listen to the live version of “Tuesday’s gone“. It is without a doubt, my all-time favorite Skynyrd song, and specifically that performance.
