The Man in the High Castle is an American dystopian alternate history television series created for streaming service Amazon Prime Video, depicting a parallel universe where the Axis powers of Nazi Germany and the Empire of Japan rule the world after their victory in World War II. It was created by Frank Spotnitz and produced by Amazon Studios, Ridley Scott's Scott Free Productions (with Scott serving as executive producer), Headline Pictures, Electric Shepherd Productions, and Big Light Productions. The series is based on Philip K. Dick's 1962 novel of the same name.

Frank volunteers to drive the bomb in, even though it has the potential to be a suicide mission, or possibly because of that.

FYI: Banzai charge or Banzai attack, is the term that was used by the Allied forces of World War II to refer to Japanese human wave attacks and swarming staged by infantry units. The writers screwed up this show so so bad by just having massive fundamental misunderstandings of Nazi and imperial Japanese culture and mindset. They had a story they wanted to tell and attached their own viewpoints under the characters and completely appropriated their cultures. As if the Japanese didn't know that a Nazi world was a pure white one? As if the radical, fanatical Japanese would have ever just simply retreated? Just absolute pure insanity because the writers lost all of their creativity once they didn't have book material to go on.

It's not the empire is immortal but the emperor is immortal, which is also the meaning of tenno heika (emperor), banzai (10000 years, a number seen as infinite).

The best part about this show was the alternative history. The parallel world side of it would ultimately let it down and take away what made the show so compelling.

They messed this show up by killing the guy character she should’ve died. They also got a lot of stuff wrong about Nazis and Japanese.
