I made a mistake years ago when I made a waistcoat.. I checked and checked the pattern but no it was a haunch back. My Great Aunt who bless her was in her 90's looked at the pattern and spotted it straight away. told me the stitch difference along with the stitch count. Took her 5 minutes. The next one was correct. But mostly a small mistake is not noticed unless you have an eagle eye. It was always said that people who made for a living back in the day made obvious, to them, mistakes to prove which products were their own.
