Ophelia Talks about Making a Crochet Bag CAL Part 1

We are making a bag. We will do so in weekly episodes, this is my own design and I have tried to break it up into manageable weekly episodes. If you want to take part you can use either scrap wool or three colours of Stylecraft Special DK (I used Parchment, Old Rose and Grape) This is how to get started on the bottom of the bag, and you will learn to increase! I can't understand why people struggle with the magic circle...ANY circular projects to be done that is the method I use...it's NOT..THAT..HARD...and like anything we try to do/make being repetitive makes it easier...

also, I learned a method of doing circles so it actually looks round instead of hexagonal..the reason you get the flat sides is because the increase stitches keep lining up with each round...instead every even increase row to increase the stitch half way between the increases on the odd rows...so for example; row 4: sc1, sc2 in one stitch, sc1...in the end your stitch count is still right in-between the increases...there are Youtube clips showing how to do it..🧶
