This is in Thailand (they're speaking Thai) and the snake is a golden tree snake. The only snake that can fly (well, glide). Not venomous.

Hard to see one of them nowadays. Last green snake I saw was probably 20 years ago.

It looks a little like a Vine Snake or could well be a Boomslang

Same thing happened with my snake, same distressed searching movements, when i accidentally walked into the ladies toilet in a nightclub 👍😁
