Type: Greater Machine

Data:
The V is the only V model to reach mass production, making up for their frailty in speed. Before the New Peace, they were frequently deployed by the Greater European Republic as special forces during the Final War. Although they lack the combat refueling capabilities of V1 and the durability of V2, they are the only model of machine to utilize teamwork to its advantage; a practice most machines consider a waste of blood. All V models, including V1 and V2, are outfitted with an Artificial Sapience Drive, allowing them to strategize and plan out attacks.

Strategy:

-The V is quite frail and can be destroyed with a point-blank shotgun shot or a direct hit with a projectile boost.

-Although they cannot throw coins of their own, they can shoot yours out of the air. They can be instantly killed if you intercept this counterricoshot.

-Groups of V will often split into groups and engage at different angles and ranges. Try to engage the ones most easily targeted first.

I can just imagine the Violence layer as an grey factory, full of dead bodies of machines and scraps everywhere, having alarms buzzing nonstop, buzzsaws, grinders, slicers everywhere.

considering how layer 7 is supposed to be a layer about VIOLENCE there might actually be a duel reprise named "WAR", with maybe a V3 or another machine with a similar design to v2 fighting you in a big desert between a war of 2 sides, representing The Final War(something thats part of the lore) and its use of the machines including you, v1, who is a machine built for war. quite fitting aint it

Why layer 8? Usually V1 fights V2 on the first layer in the act (layer 7, VIOLENCE)

Unless we see some sort of V3 we aren't likely to get another Duel Reprise..we're likely to get another Gabe fight and I'm betting Lucifer for Treachery, and given V2 actually died in Greed I doubt he's getting back up

Minotaur
Type: Supreme Demon
Data: Unlike many demons representing stupid bunches of hell energy, the Minotaur has a high intellect. There are legends among intelligent husks that once this monster was a man and a guardian of Violence, but after the loss of God, he went through the layers of Hell in the hope of finding a way out. However, after the formation of the Council, the Minotaur had to return to the layer of Violence in order to avoid the fate of Minos and Sisyphus. In his wanderings, the Minotaur lost his arm, replacing it with a mechanical one. It is known that the Minotaur collected weapons, and the invasion of various machines in hell benefited his collection.

Strategy: A huge arsenal, combat skills and the ability to learn quickly make the Minotaur a dangerous enemy. The Minotaur will adapt to the opponent's fighting style, so the best solution is to change weapons frequently.
In addition to weapons, the Minotaur will also dash, dealing damage with its horns, but if you parry this attack, you can briefly stun him.

For some reason everyone thinks Violence will be this grungy factory zone with metal everywhere, but personally, my guess will be a Swamp covered in trees that stretch endlessly to the sky, with bells hanging down from them. Fits more with Dante's Layer 7, personally.
