A Legend Returns | Diamond Memory Lane Delay Demo

A few years ago we saw the disappearance of one of our favorite pedal companies, Diamond Pedals. Thanks to SolidGoldFX that brand has been revived with the return of the Memory Lane Delay and other Diamond favorites.

Dang it, I literally just bought the Carbon copy to add another analog flavor to my memory man (550 TT). I'm sure I would prefer this, I love Diamond Pedals and I was sad to see them go away. I still have the original Drive pedal. 

I know it's somewhat of a classic, but the Carbon Copy is only OK. I'm still on the fence as to wether I really like it. I like the darker repeats, but they have a murky quality that I do not prefer. Alternatively the Memory Man repeats sound bright, and not in a bad way. However, I realized after using both on my pedal board that the Carbon Copy keeps the integrity of my tone, and it transparent where the Memory Man imparts its own sound, almost like a sheen or polish (but not like the stink that Strymon pedals impart, my opinion of course), which is good for some things (cleans) and not so great for others - The Memory Man shaves a little edge off of my overdriven tone. I didn't realize it until I tried the Carbon Copy back to back with the same settings. I wonder how the Memory Lane stacks up in this regard.

Really nice! in comparison, it has the same timbre to the old model, but all the new options :)
