MASTER The UNGUARDABLE Move Of Jimmy Butler

Показать описание
Believe it or not, Jimmy Butler scores the majority of his points from the free throw line or in the paint. With a horrific 24.4% from downtown and surprisingly low 31.7% from midrange, how does he still manage to get to his spots and especially to the basket and score efficiently?
This move is one of his secret weapons. And I’m doing a quick reveal today. What up everybody my name is Stefan and this is Heat Check. Let’s get into it.
Jimmy loves to get the ball on the wing in a triple threat position. From there, he can go either way or just raise up and shoot.
When the defense is playing him tight, he uses this move and quickly goes side to side to side. So left right left or the other way right left right. The main thing is that he gets the defender confused with this quick movement and then goes hard to the basket.
Why this works is because most NBA defenders are expecting a fake and a counter move.
So when they see that Jimmy doesn’t go on the first try, they really bite hard and try to cover the other side-expecting him to drive the opposite way.
What Jimmy does here is genius and almost always guaranteed to get the man in front completely frozen.
As you can see right here, even a very quick player like Victor Oladipo is completely left behind in the dust.
This is sort of like a face up version of the dream shake and works in the same way. Fake 1 side fake opposite, and come back to shoot it.
Back in the day, Reggie Miller, Tracy Mcgrady, Kobe Bryant used to get to the basket with this move. And Butler as a great student of the game, and a player with terrific footwork, mastered this skill as well so now he’s cooking defenders with it.
Ironically, I had this video almost ready to be done during the finals, but Jimmy never once used this move which I thought was strange.
He still got his points way up tho, so I guess he knows best.
So yeah, I just wanted to make this quick video to motivate the young and aspiring hoopers to work hard and learn this move because it’s a guaranteed bucket.
Hopefully you like these quick videos. I read your comments and suggestions about player breakdowns so I already have a list. Stay tuned. Talk to you in the next one. Peace out.
