In my "theology class" at my "catholic" school we were made to memorize the commandments. I was the ONLY person who knew them all beforehand. It truly saddens me. I ask that Theotokos, the Blessed Virgin Mary pray for them and all.

In the first 5 commanments of the OT hangs the 1st Commanment of Christ, "Love thy God" & in the rest of 5, hang the the 2nd Commanment of Christ, " Love thy Brethren" In these two Commandments hang the law & the prophets,
Even as said Jesus, " I am come not to destroy the law & the prophets but to fullfill" & When he would have accomplished to JUDGE man by these Two Commanments, the standard (for it is the perrorgative of God to Judge) it would amount to fullfilling the Law & Prophets,

“Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy. Six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is a sabbath to the Lord your God. On it you shall not do any work, neither you, nor your son or daughter, nor your male or female servant, nor your animals, nor any foreigner residing in your towns.

For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, but he rested on the seventh day. Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy.

Denis Prager said that the Hebrew translation is " thou shalt not MURDER"
not " kill " as sometimes killing is justified

It's surprising how often I see these done incorrectly by separating the first commandment into worshipping other Gods and creating "graven images." Making a graven image is in itself worshipping a false God and is therefore included in the 1st commandment.
