I spoke with SS today 6/27/2023 and they told me that the Samsung Health Monitoring app no longer supports BP at least in the US. I wonder why this video only 6 weeks old, shows something different.🙄. It would be helpful if SS added a qualifier somewhere outlining where the BP portion of the app can/cannot be used.

So im assuming the ring samsung makes also doest support bp monitoring. My phone shows accessories that can be used and will work with the phone app.

Aug 5 2023 I just called SAMSUNG TECH because my BLOOD PRESSURE feature on Samsung watch 5 is missing. The tech tried to help me reinstall it but then found with the last Samsung UPDATE the feature was REMOVED for blood pressure monitoring by the FDA? Strange because I still ahave that feature on a different brand (cheaper) watch that I own.

I just bought galaxy 6 but it seems I can check so many things but not BP, the main reason I bought the watch. I love it but it's likely I'll return it.

My Samsung 6 did come with the BP widget and there's no way of finding this

So my issue im hoping samsung responds to is this. I wear my watch on my left wrist so i have to calibrate with my home unit on the right arm which doesn't make sense since the right arm will always show a significantly lower pressure which is why you have to use a cuff on the left arm. (something about being closer to the heart) To do so id have to place my watch on my right wrist which is fine but my question is, if i calibrate it with my watch on the write wrist and then put it back to my left where i want it will it be more accurate because it it stands its showing an average of 20 points different than my brand new 150$ top of the line home BP monitor?? The heart rate monitor is pretty accurate though.

Oh you need the cuff blood pressure monitor device, I thought the watch is sufficient

Hi, I have a Galaxy 5 watch and the only reason of buying was to check my BP. Unfortunately, it is consistently showing 10/ 12 points less then a digital monitor used by the doctors. Also, sometimes it shows exactly the same reading as previous reading which is not possible for the BP to be exactly the same.
If anyone can help out since I spent all this money only to monitor BP. I have followed all the points given on Samsung troubleshooting guide.

I have next result, my BP on average 140/90, its my defaulte BP, and when i take pills to reduce pressure, my indications still had the same results, but when i check it in normal tonometr, i see 120/80.
Its okey or not, watch bought only for this reason, to control BP .maybe i need to recalibrate ?

Not avaiable because this is not reliable at all. How it suppose to measure a blood pressure? Better to read your blood pressure in the horoscope.
