Jesus says baptism is essential for salvation and has given 1st Corinthians 15: 29 to make sure it is fair.

That's why Act's 2:38, 39 is so important. Peter preached the first message of salvation in the book of Acts.

I recognize the baptism by fire and water. Those are the two. I'm lucky, I've had both.

What I find ridiculous about churches is every single church I've gone to they want me to be baptized at their Church even though I've been baptized before that's just wrong😮

Is a raincoat necessary for time travel? Some of these questions we may never be able to answer in this lifetime.

I was baptized as a baby. My church now wants to baptize grown trans people. Could you all help them maybe. I liked the baby baptism. Before they sin and all.

The Lord the Christ Jesus was against men who wore long robes and required other men to call that man a teacher or a father.

I'm an atheist who does not choose to watch religiously-motivated content. I have no idea why this kind of Iron Age fairy-tale trash keeps showing up on my feed.

As it was explained to Nicodemus, you must be born again. You must be born of water (physical birth we all go through when we are born) and born of spirit (accepting Jesus Christ as your savior and repent of your sins) to enter the Kingdom of God.
Baptism is something we SHOULD do to show a public profession of faith that we are dead to our old ways and rising again to a new life in Christ...but it absolutely is NOT a requirement to enter into Heaven. Christ's sacrifice was enough for that.
Prior to Christ dying on the cross, mankind was under the Law of Moses...that was their way of entering into a covenant with God for salvation...sacrifices and fasting were just a part of it...Orthodox Jews still practice under The Law to today, but now that won't save them because they reject Christ.

There are probably millions of people who get baptized who are gonna wind up in hell. Baptism does not save you. Jesus saves you. Baptism is an important step, and is a public declaration of your commitment to follow Christ. But it is merely a good work. It is something we should do, but it does not save anyone.

I think the previous comment is correct, you come to Jesus, find a body of believers, (Church) and affirm with Baptism - Jesus baptized in the Jordan by John, we are baptized in the New Covenant
