Multivariable calculus is not an easy class for most, especially with the conceptual understanding. That is why in this video I will be heavily talking about what these certain things, like gradient, directional derivatives, lagrange multipliers, partial derivatives, are actually doing for you.

Part 2 will be out before the end of the semester!

I hope this video helped! If it did SUBSCRIBE for more content. Thanks for watching!

My final is in 3 days. Hope to get in at least 1 video a day. Thank you for making these.

Update: i got a 97, thank you so much for these videos!

Finally. An organized final course review, that goes in-depth per each question. There is nothing like this on YouTube. Its either too much theory, and no practice. or extreme problem solving with no explanation. This is incredible content, and the editing makes it less boring. PLEASE, keep up the good work, and dont disappear on us. Also, if you're comfortable sharing, what did you major in?

Pro Tip: After you watch the video, do all the problems again on a separate sheet of paper/tablet page by yourself and you will find out exactly what you don't know .

haha more like im watching this in 2x because my final is in 2 hours

for some reason, we never touched on lagrange multipliers. In my university class, "calc III for engineering" we have half a semester to complete the course, essentially we only take 2 classes for half the semester, and than 2 more the other half. I personally like this style of learning because you feel like you're able to focus more intently on 2 subjects. but yeah I don't remember going over lagrange multipliers it seems interesting. I already took the final but I'm just going back through the concepts for fun

I commented about 5 months ago on your calc 2 review saying I needed a 35 to pass, here I am again! Need a 40 to pass, really want to get a 75+ but its not looking probable. Your video is helping me a lot, be back in 2 days to report on my grade

I have a final next week and your videos are very helpful reviews of the topics. You taught better than my prof. Thank you so much

Fantastic video! My professor didn't post an organized review and just said "read over the whole book". Very helpful!

Nice video! I took Multivariate Calc a couple years ago, so this was nice to brush up a bit. One note regarding mixed partial derivatives: Clairaut's Theorem only applies when the mixed partial derivatives are continuous. So if you find f_xy and it's continuous, then you can use Clairaut's Theorem to say that f_yx = f_xy. But if you find f_xy and it isn't continuous, then Clairaut's Theorem can't tell you anything about f_yx. Overall, great video, though. Thanks for taking the time to put this together!

My final is in 14 hours and I have to get an 80% on it, so needless to say, these videos are very helpful.

We can bring a cheat sheet and a calculator to the final, so you best believe I'm writing everything as small as possible to cram it all onto the cheat sheet, and setting up some macros on my calculator to make life easier

I watched this review to study for my calc 3 final the day before, and hardly anything from it was on my exam. But that's ok, it was a really good video. It was very useful, thank you.

Your videos were amazing. I was so worried about my final exam for calc 3, and your review sessions definitely helped out a ton.

This review video is awsome!! Thank you for this video! I have struggled in cal 3 unlike in cal 2. Your explanations have helped make the material make sense. My only regret is not watching this earlier. It would have helped for testing though out the semester. I will definitely be reccomending your video series to other friends going into cal 3.

Calc 3 final exam in 5 days, 4 days left to study, I just got 1 hour 7 minutes through this video but time for bed, I will do parts 2 and 3 tomorrow and then hopefully I will be able to practice enough problems the rest of the week to do well on the final. Thank you for this video it is great!

I don't know if its because I already learned this but you make Calc 3 so easy to understand. Can't wait to watch the rest! Thank you! I will likely watch your differential equations videos.
