Matthew Ahn has set a new record for the fastest time to travel to all New York City subway stations – 21 hours, 28 minutes and 14 seconds. We rode along with him for his record-breaking trip.

Back in the day we used to call that "Doing the system".
But you were not allowed to physically leave the subway to transfer, you had to use in system transfer points.

Good luck Dec.31 when the 2nd avenue subway opens. That's 3 new stops. also if u have to ride every train line u also have to ride the W.

I always thought you had to stay within the subway system and not leave it to run to another station, no one else has ever mentioned doing this before.
