Padre Pio was able to see his guardian Angel from a very early age. He could also see others’ and could tell if the person was in a state of mortal sin or not by how their guardian angel appeared. Amazing. Padre Pio, ora pro nobis!

The original question asked of St. Thomas. I answered as to Mark 3:18, where the 12 Apostles are listed. One of them was "Thomas". My answer was not referring to someone "St. Thomas Aquinas". Yes, he is a theologian who was a wonderful author. These are two separate men, both "Thomas"- one a disciple, one a writer.
