Windows UI 3 : Uno Platform | Figma to XAML

Uno Platform allows you to create single-codebase, cross-platform applications which run on iOS, Android, Web, macOS, Linux and Windows. You'll be creating cross-platform .NET applications with XAML and C# in no time.

In this video we will go through
1. Get Figma Assets
Install the Uno Platform Plugin for Figma and Download (“Duplicate”) Uno Platform Material Toolkit from Figma community. The file will contain the sample Commerce App.

2. Export XAML
Inside Figma, navigate to “Example App” inside Uno Platform Material Toolkit. Select any one screen, right-click and select “Uno / Figma” plugin, then generate XAML.

3. See XAML in your App
Copy XAML generated in step 2 and paste inside your Uno Platform App in Visual Studio. Or if you want to skip steps 1 and 2, you can use XAML we generated.

I want to create a self-development/productivity application for planning, controlling emotions, taking notes, etc. What are your tips for creating such an application? I want to create it for my studies and to make it easy to create and quite pretty at the same time. I'll probably choose WPF, but I don't know which features are easy to do and which aren't (e.g. is a functional calendar or focus mode with timer and music a difficult thing). I also need good patterns/sources to understand MVVM and create my own styles/controls which I find a bit complicated. I am also thinking how to use the simplest local database for the user, where there would be some information from his daily activity.
Thank you for reading.

When you create your videos you need to normalize the audio, because we can barely hear you.
