I just seen the Biggles movie for the first time last night and it was quite amazing!! The use of real aircraft and the use of real locations, even inside the operations of the bridge raising👌🧐 I think a sequel with the two of them is needed for this society.
It would be so awesome to see the two of you back at the time travel shenanigans and saving the day in a spectacular way😍🙌

If there's any underrated film I champion it's this one. Really entertaining movie. Well done Alex. 👍

What a fantastic video. Biggles is one of my favourite movies and I wish Neil and Alex would do a Comic Con together. I will definitely be picking up his book.👍😉

I loved the film, still do, I remember when I read the novel of the film (I read lots of biggles books at the time) and I was surprised how much it felt like a "real" biggles book. Kept you turning the pages till the end, very like captain Johns style. Can't remember who wrote it but they did a fantastic job and I think Johns might have liked it as he dabbled in sci fi with his Kings of space books. Don't know if it is still in print but was great to read it after seeing the film, made me think " they kind of got it right". Great video, thank you both :)

"Quick! Untie us before they realise you're not a God, you're just an American."

Fun Fact: Dudley Moore was once touted to play Biggles in this movie.

Final Bow Fact: Features Peter Cushing's last screen performance, filmed January until March 1985.

Subtle Sequel Fact: Neil Dickson later reprised the Biggles character in all but name in It Couldn't Happen Here (1987).

Location Location Fact: The weapon testing ground scene was filmed in the now disused Beckton Gas Works in London, which was also used for the Vietnam scenes in Stanley Kubrick's Full Metal Jacket (1987) a year later.

Epic Stunt Fact: The scene where the helicopter lands and then takes off again from a flat wagon on a train traveling at over 40mph had never been attempted before this film and had to be repeated 15 times over two days before the directors were satisfied that it looked just right. Skysport Engineering was commissioned to build a replica Sopwith Pup which could be suspended from a crane and "flown" and crashed with a stuntman inside for the opening sequences of Biggles's rescue. Attention was given to every detail of its construction so that even when it was burnt the charred remains would look authentic. The wings and frame had to be selectively strengthened and weakened so that it would crumple and break to look as though it had fallen from 1000ft, not 10ft as in reality.

Saw it last night😊 Nothing read about it, dont know who in main roles. When i saw the main hero, i think "why he looks familiar". And than... "Its Reed Richards!".

It was good movie, with amazing stunts, and flying scenes. A bit naive, but thats not bad) Its fairy tail in good way) Strange that i hear nothing before about this film. Great discover)

Awesome movie. I've been watching it over and over for the past 35 odd years. Now, I'm getting my young son into it. Really wish you guys had kept it going.... Thanks heaps to all for it, love your work!

As a true Biggles fan, I hated this movie.[In the context of switching the genera.
If you wanted a time travel movie, then make one. In my opinion, a Biggles done arcuately would be amazing. In saying that this film was ok.
