My mouth watered when you shared your moms Broccoli Lasagna and I am by no means a vegetarian. Like not even close. I think I would use Alfaro sauce instead of red sauce just because it would taste better with the broccoli. Glad to hear you guys are ok. I have family in Beaumont, TX. No issues there!

When we go to Aldi it’s 2hrs aw. But we only go once a month or sometimes every two months. The food looks delicious. TFS.

This looks very good, I could almost smell it as you were cooking. This of course would be good with ground meat but I know what you mean about going to the store to find no meat. We also had no bread, milk, eggs or water. In fact, our water went off last Tuesday and we finally had full water pressure by Friday night. Unfortunately we still can't drink the water and remain under a boil notice. Another reason my small town in Texas is out of bottled water. When the trucks were finally able to get through to deliver, a great number of shelves were empty again within a couple of hours. It was like the beginning of the pandemic all over again.
But things are calming down and finally returning to some form of normal. Now I just need water. 😃 It's been crazy but the craziest part is a week ago we were covered in snow and today it will be in the mid 70's. Now that's crazy. But that's Texas y'all! And I think we'll be down to the 50's on Thursday. Our saying down here is, If you don't like the weather just wait 5 minutes cuz it'll change. 😉
I know it's nice to have your mom so close. I love that she shares recipes with you. I made that Kool-Aid pie from the recipe she gave you. I had never heard of it either but I tried it and it was good. 😊
