Am I the only one who watched the whole video without even noticing what they are building?

Do have to say these DIY episodes are really fun, makes me think back to "a car is born" tv show

Shawn, you are the man! That rig is very nice. As far as the colors go, that's easy, black and red (ISR colors). Can't wait to see it all painted up. Looked a little labor intensive so I'm not sure if this one is for me but well worth the thirty bucks for the plans. Another great show folks, enjoyed it!!

Great looking project. warts and all - thank you for including the mistakes as those are the same sort of things we all do. Lucky you didn't glue the base plate down first time hey, that construction adhesive has wicked grip. Looking forward to part 2 now. If you use any filler to mask the splits in the MDF can you show how and what you use as I am sure there will be some guys that need that little extra knowledge..

Awesome work with the video SRT. A good complimentary tool to written plans. My first Rig was and still is the RaceBase cockpit all in MDF.

I like how you leave the mistakes you make in the videos. It helps. Shaun looked hella fed up sometimes lol. Great lookin rig though!

That look like an awesome rig and those plans look like they really help make it easy. It's also great to have a video like this to refer to when I do the same build! Great episode guys!

That's a badass design. I like the keyboard holder. I'm thinking my rig will be regulated to a closet so I'm going to have to do something like this.

Very cool rig.
Thanks.

Oh, and thank you especially for not pretending screw ups don't happen.
If you edited those parts out i couldn't bring myself to respect your work on this.

Plus it can't be easy working next to Jess, but that's just me and my deviants thoughts at work...

Cheers.

Just watched this video in 2024. I used to own an RS-1, but that was an ocean away and a few years ago, so was looking to build another. Gonna go at it without plans though, the RS-1 is a great sturdy rig but doesn't really suit my size and seating position requirements as I'm 187cm and 120kg, and it hurts my worn out knees (6'2" and 260lb in the old units).
