wow fantastic job you hit a home run.. I'm a woodworker and just ordered the plans for this but I will change it up a bit. I will be building it out of either Black Walnut or Cherry and instead of using screws I will use dowels for the joinery when done I will put a coat of vinyl sanding sealer followed by 2 coats of clear gloss conversion varnish.

What screws/bolts are you using in place of the deck screws? I’m going to be building an RS500 soon and love the look you have going here.
