The blue toad is a playable character. By pushing L or ZL button while selecting yellow toad you can swap the colours.

Why Peachette is a thing?
I know it's just an excuse to have a playable Peach (which is awesome) while not changing the game's plot.
But having a Power Up that turns a specific character into another specific character is ridiculous!
Edit: I know about Super Mario 64 DS and Super Mario Maker. But those didn't make you transform into a morphed version of two characters.
