I put this video on so much, I like to turn the volume way down low and play this while I go to sleep, it gives me the same feeling I had as a kid when I'd watch my older brother play it in our bedroom while I was cozied up on the bottom bunk.

I remember when I was 12 years old 14 years ago, my aunt bought this game for me from a nearby Target where she’d lived at before she and my cousin moved to Austin TX & I’d had Nintendo GameCube at the time. 14 years later, I remember being in love with playing this game 24/7.

It’ll soon be a year next month on Aug. 8th since she’d passed away from Breast Cancer.

I played the LM games pretty much backwards. So I’m 80% through the first game only now. Boy o boy was this a glorious treat! The eerie-ness, the unnerving darkness, the suspense in discovering a new room, the very creepy looking humanoid-ghosts, which, cos of GameCube graphics, are all slightly blurry which adds to their untold mystery. I loved 2 and 3 but by God, this game is truly special.

This was one of the games I never played when the GameCune was new. I recently (finally) got it and damn, this is easily one of the most unique games I've ever played, and it's so packed with personality and charm. One of the best GameCube games for sure.

I bought this game around 2003 when I got my first GameCube I literally just picked it because it had Mario’s brother on the front and looked creepy as hell! This game did legit scare me as a kid. Classic.
