Hey curlfriends! When I mentioned "mushy hair" think spaghetti! Like if you take a bunch of over-cooked spaghetti in your hands and squish it, that's what I'm referring to. :-P

Another tip: The breakage might also mean you need a trim REALLY BAD

Since I began using liittleextra coco onioon shampoo and hair conditioner, there's been a good reduction in hair fall. It feels softer and looks shinier. Compared to using other shampoos there was more hair fall. Additionally, I've started using a scalp massager and I think is also helping reducing hair fall.

A common thing we all forget to is IRON. Me! I need iron because my levels are constantly low. Sigh.

I have very fine, low porosity, 4a -c hair and it is super protein sensitive. I had no idea why my hair was breaking off until i stopped doing protein treatments altogether. My hair HATES it and tangles immediately with itself after detangling in sections. If your hair is anything like mine, don't use it and stick to hot oil treatments once a month.

I stopped eating meat months ago my hair is still soft but mushy and I believe I’m lacking protein 😢 I remember girls using protein styling gel growing up and saying it grew their hair so I brought it back 😅

Mushy hair mostly applies to relaxed hair.

Sign #4 your hair wont clump for wash and go. Lack of clumping and lack of definition could be a sign of needing protein too

I see a lot of people using protein treatments alone, though you can do that typically it’s not advised due to the possibility of causing an imbalance. Follow up with a deep conditioner after a protein treatment to ensure proper strength and hydration

Can you do a video or short of signs you have too much protein or using protein too often (protein overload)?

Hair grows from the inside out, it's what you put in your body.

WHAT in the world is "wet, mushy" hair? How does one know whether or not their hair is "mushy"? (???) 🤔

Aphogee products had my relaxed hair growing back in the day. Mid back length. And my mom hair was to her butt. Just as shiny and thick.

Okay so now I’m back to natural hair again. Been praying and looking for a good product. And bam 💥 ran across this fabulous man talking about this product I used.

I just need to know if I need a protein treatment. When washing my hair springs back. If I pull it now that it’s dry. It does the same thing.

I think I just need to moisturize my hair and seal it with an oil or grease. I’m I right @AfrikanHairGod?

Aphogee provitamin leave in conditioner is really good for protein products.

💫✨ Tonya, do you find that natural gray hair tends to be one porosity over another; i.e., more high porosity over low, — no chemicals (or color either) and does it tend to need more protein or do you think moisture . . . always a problem with sealing in moisture! Thank you so much for the helpful tips in this very nice video, , , ! 🥰 💫✨

Hello, I have white hair. You talked about protein. What is the best protein for my hair, and how often should I use it?
