Took me 2 minutes to get all five stones, I was expecting it to be harder since Thanos had so much trouble with that

"A number of animals get on a boat - what's the captain's name"
Imma be honest, I was expecting "Noah"

Worth noting I think, the book isn't due to be released until November 7th, so I guess this is a sneak peak at it.

I've been very much enjoying Alex's book "Puzzle Ninja", which was recommended by this channel some time ago. I'll certainly have to check this new one out.

Not including reflections and rotations, the solution to the five stones problems seems to be unique.

In case you're asking a specific question, the two answers are Q and Y.

"Not enough information" is extremely valuable as an answer. Too many people, when not seeing an answer to a question, will instead of giving the reasonable answer that "There isn't enough information to solve this." instead try to bend the puzzle to give an answer that has no reason to be concluded. This sort of thing comes up quite often when talking about religion. Religious folks get upset when atheists give the honest answer that they don't have enough information to conclude a god, telling them that they don't have an answer, and the religious folk often just shove a god in there because they can't think of anything else that could account for it. The lazy answer is concluding it must be God, because it gives them a reason to stop looking for a better answer, while "Not enough information" leaves a person with a reason to keep looking for more information.

I strongly, strongly disagree with you about the boat question. It's very important to get students to understand that not all information is necessary to solve a problem, and problems aren't always solvable.
