Just some rough napkin math here... Even putting $10, 000 down on a 65k truck, you're looking at a monthly payment over a grand on a 72 month term with current interest rates, and paying almost $12, 000 in interest payments alone. You're probably upside-down for the first 2-3 years of your loan. Even with a 150k individual salary, it's just not fiscally responsible to spend over $1, 000 a month on a truck payment. Have automakers even done real world math on these? These aren't luxury vehicles.

I’m personally tired of dealing with dealerships.

Still too expensive. I'd expect this to be a $50K truck with all the features. These dealers and manufacturers are out of their minds.

new game: Park a clean used 5.7 V8 at a Toyota dealership within eyesight of the new Tundra and then count how many customers walk over to the old model.

Got my 2025 Tundra Platinum and it’s worth every dime. I had new fords and chevys recently and they age fast. Paint wears less than 5 years on fords and chevys too. Can’t beat Toyotas.

What BH says is true - they're targeting wealthy buyers with these prices. And while there are some of them, I don't think there are enough to sustain the market for long. Most wealthy people prefer their luxury SUV's and sedans.

Crazy that these trucks have gone up over 20 GRAND in just the last few years, WILD.

Ben, I have a neighbor and a co-worker who both owned 23 Tundras and ended up trading them back in for a loss due to engine or electrical issues. One was a hybrid and the other gas engine only. I know not everyone is going through this, just a small percentage, but with Toyota’s reputation that small % is enough to plummet sales in the long run. Toyota needs to get like Ford and Chevy and offer the 5.7 as an option.

Always good to see a spray on bed liner included in the build of a inventory truck, luv the exterior color

When I bought my loaded out Tundra new in 2008, I paid $30k. Accounting for inflation, that’s $46.6k today.

Going to pay off my ‘19 Tundra in a few months and save my money for early retirement. I’d love to upgrade but not at these ridiculous prices along with sketchy reliability.

Agree. Just too expensive. I made 150000 the last year I worked. Even at that I couldn’t justify 70 or 80 thousand. Don’t know how people do it.

I have a 23 SR5 pretty much loaded 17k, build date 5-23. Either way I won’t be keeping my truck once the power train warranty expires!!!! Maybe I will be able to get a 26.

My first new pickup in 1975 was a Chevy Custom 10. It was $3, 125. out the door with tax, tags, and am/fm radio. At the time I was making $17, 000 a year as a tradesman. Trucks today are boy toys; they're not work vehicles for hauling material to and from a job site.

Since Toyota decided to start bringing their offerings into the 21st century, they are suffering reliability problems just like everyone else. Their reliability reputation was built on developing and maintaining configurations that they did not change very often. I am not sure they ever had any secret sauce reliability wise except that they didn't make changes as often as other manufacturers.

I’d love to get into a new full size truck. I make good money and these are way too expensive. It’s a shame the titan pro4x seems like the only good value and it’s leaving

Just want to say that my older brother bought a brand new Platinum f-150 in 2018 for 62 K sticker. It doesn't have every option but it is about as nice as you could get at the time. Now some Midsize trucks are more expensive than that truck was new? In 6 years, prices have gone up that much. Am I crazy or does that seem a little much?
