I stumbled upon this accidentally while filming a challenge video that's coming out this week. The slow motion effect doesn't affect dialogue pacing, and hitting the ground hard turns 1 second of time into 3. So the dialogue repeats itself since it doesn't know what to do with the extra time that is created.

The reason it skips is because the audio's trying to sync back up with the animation, but apparently only does that when the game speed changes
