Girl it's funny, when I saw you using the shower curtains as decor I have been doing that for about 40+ years. I also use sheets to make curtains and shower curtains. They last forever and wash up fabulous. Everytime I head out to a thrift store I head to the bedding and curtain section and search for items as fabric, it's so much cheaper than buying by the yard. I have a shower curtain set that I absolutely love, but I won't use it because I don't want it to get ruined in the bathroom. My grandma had it in her spare bathroom for years and she gave it to me. I'll definitely give it a good wash and repurpose it when I get to my permanent home.
