Tried to use one similar years ago in a restaurant I was a manager in, worked great for personal use. But for burger solidity a hand lever piston worked better for more compact smaller patties. Just my personal experience, still loved my burgers I made with the model similar to this though 👊

I can cut and season a 10 lbs tube of ground beef, getting 20 8 oz patties portioned, put into a container and then into the walk-in, faster than it would take to clean that device.

You'd have to be making patties all day in order to save time due to the amount of clean-up required after you're done with the machine. So yeah, it'd be good for restaurants or huge BBQs for events and stuff.

By the time you load it make the burgers and then clean it a good line cook would have made and served dozens of burgers all by hand.

Personally i wouldnt use one of these just cuz It seems like alot more work to clean than just to hand form the paddies and im too broke to buy one 😂

This looks like it is in theory better than a regular hand press but I feel as though it has many points of failure that would need to be stress tested first

I like this device not sure making burger. But for mixing the pork/beef ratio into the burger amounts. But once set out. I'd roll and remake the party's by hand for better solidity.

2 4oz deli cups put the meat in one and push the other one on top to form the patty inside the deli container. Makes 10oz burger patty.

These really aren't bad... Used a similar model when I briefly worked at a restaurant, ours had big thumb screws on the clear plate instead of flat heads but it only took about 15m to clean including the main chamber

Just use the bottom of a plate. The plates foot ring is perfect for shaping patties
