Great win, good to see the run game and defense appear to be clicking 👍 There are things to clean up, absolutely, but I'd rather be UM than OSU right now.

There are still concerns on this team but the best they can be after 2 games is 2-0 which is what they are. The defensive backfield still needs improvement. A lot of Washington passes were easy pitch and catches because they were so far off the LOS. I expect Clinkscale to clean it up as the year goes along. Still 2 more games that UM should win without much stress. Then comes the Wisky game that is the 1st real test. Get through that one undefeated and we can talk a bit more. Defense is still growing. Offensively Gattis needs some imagination but also needs to learn that routes have to be downfield past the line of scrimmage a 5 yard pattern on 3rd and 7 is a waste. It needs to be an 8 yard pattern.

Running game looks good...but the offensive play calling is FREAKIN awful in that 1st half.... and let's get a down field passing game goin!!

This secondary has got to wrap up better. The running game looked incredible so if McNamara is at the very least serviceable as a starter the only thing keeping them from beating osu is speed on the back end. Nice physicality up front on both sides of the ball though. I’m liking what I’m seeing, GO BLUE

I don’t know what you have to do to start passing that ball, bc there’s no way we’re going to beat teams like Wisconsin, Penn State, mi state or Ohio State if we don’t throw the ball, And if they have to put in JJ in just to pass the ball then so be it, just pass the dam ball for god sakes, but all in all good game for Michigan.

Defense won the game for us tonight, had they given up a single score in the first half this would've been a totally different game. Thankfully UW's D broke down first so that helped us build up the lead.

Nice W for the Harbaugh-led Michigan team. The best thing about it is that Harbaugh didn't reveal much about his offense. Very basic. That's very smart strategy for the 2nd week of the season. Defense played very well. The guys look like they are playing FOR EACH OTHER & not just together. 👍👍👍

When those four and five star players left the Husky program, I thought them traitors. A week ago I heard what a Don James player had to say about this year's team. He said that this team had a lackadaisical, lazefare attitude with which Don James would never have stood. Those guys who left earlier this year and last year weren't traitors, they were canaries.
