Expanse fans - Season 6 is set to be the last season, in large part because there's a 20-30 year jump between books 6 and 7, and I'm guessing the actors didn't want to have to wear old people makeup for 3 more season. The thing is, we know the crew has been together and doing a lot of stuff during that time, so if the producers wanted to keep the show going, they wouldn't have much canon material to have to abide by. New stories that werent' told in the books. We'd get to see the Rocinante doing trade and some military missions, as well as the rise of Drummer's career running the ring space. Bobbie joins the crew, Clarissa becomes family and Avasarala keeps cussing up a storm.

I'm betting that's under discussion, based on the demand for the show to be continued.

An absolutely Incredible sci-fi! Definitely one of the all-time best! I was very sad to learn that Season 6 will be the finale. This one should Definitely continue beyond that! I will miss it. Each time I watch it, I find something new. I'm sure I'll be rewatching for years to come, though I wish that wasn't necessary. ❤️
