Much Ado About Mean Girls by Ian Doescher is hilarious! It was a finalist in the Goodreads Awards Humor category this year and I highly recommend! It's a rewrite of Mean Girls as a traditional Shakespearean play and being so familiar with the origin material makes it very easy to follow and understand even if you aren't the most experience with Shakespeare.

If you like historical fiction (so this rec is not for Kayla 😂), I loved Speak Easy, Speak Love. It's a Much Ado About Nothing retelling set in the 1920s that centers around saving a failing speak easy.

I noticed you held up The Tempest as one of your favorites that you haven't read a retelling of - Margaret Atwood's Hag-Seed is an interesting take on that one! It's set in a prison, for one thing. I know it didn't work for a lot of people but I enjoyed it.

"The Only Thing Worse Than Me is You" is the first book i read in 2020 and i enjoyed it so much. I think i gave it 4 stars. I didn't know it was a Shakespeare's retelling.

There's Queens of Innis Lear which is a huge Fantasy retelling of King Lear
And I think this author's recent fantasy (came out like last week or something) Lady Hotspur is also Shakespeare retelling but I'm not sure of what exactly
