THIS IS THE DECADE when people worked for a living, had respect for others , had good taste in music and cars.

I’m 13 and I don’t understand why people hate this music! It’s when music took skill and talent!

What I wouldn't give to go back to the 50's and stay there. People were sane back then. Men were men and women were women. There was love of God and country. We definitely had the best of everything.

I’m 71, heard these as a child growing up in the 50’s my cousins would sit around the TV and listening to American Band Stand and of course they’d dance and so did I. Then as an adolescent I knew and sang every song I liked. Then came Beach Parties and my other cousins would dance these newer songs so I joined in too. Know as a widow how I yearn for those times. Memories of wonderful years.

This the time when music was fun and you could dance to it, ,,my baby sister and I were taught to jitter bug by my mother before she passed away only 32 years old of pneumonia, ,our hearts were so broken in 1965, ,mama was beautiful, ,well I still play these oldies and dance to them in loving memory of my mama and my jenny she's gone to now, ,call me cry baby, ,96 tears, ,they are in my heart forever

My wife has dementia. A recent infection weakend her and she lost mobility. I started playing songs from 50s and 60s. It started with her tappingher feet. Then she crossed her leg. She sits up in a chair now and I am confident we will be walking again soon.

I cruise in my mustang listening to this music I used to hear my parents okay as I grew up. I found out I was the result of a good time in the backseat of a 65 ford galaxy 500, just before my dad was shipped off to vietnam. I still listen to this music. I miss my parents, I'm 55. Music had feeling, style back then. Not like todays crap. I wish we had a cruise strip like the one I grew up in at virginia beach.

I was born in '78, and grew up listening to KLOU radio and 50s/60s music was all they played in those days. Every night, 9pm, Cousin Brucie's Cruisin' America show was how I went to bed listening to these hits.
