I wonder why those designer guys do not like to address engineering problems like safety, the biggest challenge in the flying transportation industry, even the most mature commercial air-plane have to tell every trip to their passengers how to survive in case of any possible air-plane failure during the trip.

Flying taxis would be great, allowing us to travel within cities without having to look at the homeless encampments below. And with technological breakthroughs allowing for ease of operation, low wage labor can be easily trained to fly them. As the technology becomes more refined, we would be able to eliminate the pilots entirely, moving them to the tent cities below with the rest of the unemployed.
