Andy Stanley the Apostate Pastor Affirms Sinful Living

A viral video of Andy Stanley is viewed in this video showing he affirms a sinful lifestyle as being better and helpful for other Christians to accept. I talk about his father, Charles Stanley, John MacArthur, Amy Grant, and others, and ultimately conclude that sadly, Andy Stanley is an apostate pastor.

If I as a Straight man can control my lusts and passions then so can a homosexual. Having sex is not a human right and being gay does not give an indulgence to indulge one's self.

Too many pastors don't even acknowledge that they are leading their congregants right off the cliff.

Out of the Devil's mouth Andy Stanley speaks. His father would be so ashamed!! He is as the mayor of Sodom and Gomorrah!
It is absolutely sickening listening to him speak.

I'm a college student. Everytime I speak up in the classroom against the ungodly ideas I see around me the other students treat me like I'm stupid. I have no friends at college. Andy Stanley is speaking crap.

Dr Michael Brown has the best, most common sense biblical response to the question of and response to the gay person/community. We are not to approve or affirm their sin, but to lead them to salvation and rejecting their sinful lifestyle. Its in his channel videos somewhere. Its several years old.

Wow brian, love this, we believe so much the same way . Only thing we may disagree on is, i believe a gay person is born that way, we are all born sinners, and thats why we have to be reborn again and turn from that sin and lifestyle. But i totally respect your opinion on that. God bless brother.

It is not right in the eyes of God for us to keep pointing out the sin of every one else. If we keep doing that they will not ever get saved.

Romans 7 is describing the struggle with sin under the bondage of the old law. This is the traditional interpretation and was held by the KJV translators as evidenced in their chapter summaries. I believe it is wholly contradictory to the context (6:1, 8:13) and does harm to scripture to interpret it otherwise. While we can certainly relate to the struggle because we fail to “walk in the Spirit” perpetually, Paul is not describing a post conversion struggle.

If he was talking about people that have proclivities in that area, but have chosen to live, holy and celibate, unless or until that was changed, I absolutely respect that. We all have to die to self, and we are not promise, deliverance from every temptation. What I mean is, I believe we will be fighting our flesh until we go to sleep in Christ, or until he comes. so if someone who is same, sex, attracted, decides to live for God, and live, holy, then, absolutely, that is awesome. But we cannot live ongoingly, unrepentantly, sinful lifestyles, and be OK with God. So it depends on what he meant by it. The thing that bothers me is, he’s too close to the edge.

The day the church start caring more about doctrine and the souls of the lost and less about feelings and not being accused of being intolerant will be the day that things will get better. Until then, embrace for impact.

The first step is to say the word "heresy" without stuttering. The second step is to say "no, this person is an idolater following a different gospel, a heresy. This person is not a christian". The third step is to stand firm and don't apologize but reaffirm it with bible verses.

Holding hands and sing cumbayas with someone that denies that Jesus is the only way to heaven and only mediator between God and men because they pray to Mary and follow the sacraments for salvation is not going to help anyone, in fact the opposite.

By the way, I don't like McArthur, I think Calvinism is a heresy that will save nobody. But still, the bible is clear that women should not teach. Period. I don't know if he is mean to them or not, but to believe women can be pastors is just another concession, and after concessions there is always more and more concessions. Just no. I don't follow sentimentalism, I follow the bible.

Similar thing with women pastors. Is more and more accepted and is clearly not allowed in the bible. But because of sentimentalism people allow it, because "sister X is such a good person, she will be a great teacher". Stop it. You don't know better than God. "Oh but it's a misunderstanding because the word really means..." Shut up.

You tried to use the excuse "but women can make converts through the gospel", that's not teaching, that's preaching the gospel, there's a big difference. No woman should be a pastor, end of discussion.

18:13, "Is oh my g**dness bad too"? Yes, that's the same as "oh my g*sh". Romans 3:10-12 "as it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: There is none that understandeth, There is none that seeketh after God. They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; There is none that doeth good, no, not one." As a Christian, even not considering that "goodness" in this case is a euphemism for "God", shouldn't be talking about our goodness. Any goodness in us is from God, and has nothing to do with ourselves.

Some others are "G*lly" = "God", "G-e-e" = Jesus. "G**d Grief" = "Good G*d", "C-r-i-c-k-e-y" (Australian word) = "C-h-r-i-s-t", "for crying *ut loud" "for C-h-r-i-s-t's sake". I would tend to classify "Oh my W*rd" also, given John 1:1 "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.", but cannot find any exact statement that it is indeed the origin, though common sense would indicate it likely is.

Becket Cook, Christian YouTuber previously of the gay community and now a Christian, has a great video on that topic of Amy Grant hosting a gay wedding for her niece. Becket takes that same view and from his own experience as a gay man prior to becoming a Christian.

(MAYBE) Dr. Andy Stanley was not saying that LGBTQ lifestyle is OK, that they shouldn't repent and continue living that way. Perhaps what Dr. Stanley was saying is that the LGBTQ people who keep coming to church may have stronger faith in Christ's work on the cross and His resurrection as their only mean of salvation (than many other Christians).

And so this past Sunday my pastor, instead of calling Andy Stanley out, gave him a plug for a book he wrote on the family. Hmmm. And I live in the Atlanta area close to Stanley's churches.
Not good.

Young Christian aspirants should never consider serving their country if vulgarity offends them. Right from boot camp profanity is the primary language .

Why would anyone choose to be gay in a world that until recently was very hostile?
