She promises that in her film there will be some hot romance between her lead characters.
Wilde went on to say that the scene is intended to make audiences "realize how rarely they see female hunger, and specifically this type of female pleasure."

This is from an interview that she did with Insider.
And the issue with this, is that this film is NOT about "female pleasure" in any way, shape or form. Is about gaslighting and men abusing their power. There's nothing "hot" about it.

I just don’t like how Olivia is trying to “bring back good sex scenes” when those scenes in this film are based off of abuse?? The old drafts of the script that I’ve found and read makes Harry’s character out to be quite abusive. So I don’t like her glorifying sex, with an undertone of abuse.

What is baffling is there are amazing female led projects out there like Russian Doll, Killing Eve and OITNB. also there are good sex for women on screen such as Normal People, Bridgerton and Sex Education. But Olivia seems to be trying so hard to be this amazing feminist film director when from the sounds of it the sex is a result of an abusive truman show black mirror esque situation. Olivia clearly wanted to be this unique amazing director but it just became performative and fake. Wanting something so bad at the expense of her relationships to others.

This movie aside - people are glossing over Shia Labeouf's active case against him that FKA twigs has filed. Seeing people refer to it as his 'past' and disregarding the trauma and abuse caused, and instead talking about his acting abilities and praising him in this situation is disturbing. Let's be real Olivia didnt get Harry to play in this movie for genuine intentions of acting but because he is the hottest artist right now, she used him for clout to promote the movie and belittled the other cast members. She lied that Shia got fired which makes him look bad, I'm glad he pulled out his receipts! Lol
But I know for a fact that Shia & Florence would've killed this movie!

A lot of the channels that have been covering all the drama surrounding the movie keep saying that Florence was upset by the trailers and promos showing her sex scene with Harry, but the quote from her is literally about how she doesn't want all the focus from the media to be about that one particular scene. She knows exactly how the media and people in the press operate. They will hyperfocus on the scandalous or juicy (no pun intended lol) details and ask the actors prying, uncomfortable, inappropriate and cringey questions about them. She literally says the movie is bigger and better than that which suggests that she supports the movie. And that's probably why she hasn't been doing too much press in the first place. She doesn't want to deal with these people. So can we please stop trying to make this more than what it is and insinuate that she hates how she's being portrayed and has beef with Olivia? The only way I'll buy that is if she says it herself.

This could have been such a good film but (from what I’ve gathered) Olivia’s unprofessionalism and unpreparedness totally ruined it for the cast which ruined it for us. Total loss of potential.

I just saw Charlie's video about the spit theory. When Chris went to clap for Harry he set his glasses down and when he went to pick them back up, he was like wait where'd they go 😅 but conveniently Harry did this weird thing with his Face but I didn't see any spit
