diagnose p0753 on a 2001 Chevy Tahoe 4L60e transmission. If this code appears that you should have a problem with the solenoid A or 1-2 shift solenoid. Or the wiring harness to it.

I change oil and filter 2001 gmc 1500 4+4 miles 157048 oil was very dark black that why I change it afterwards got p0753 test drive truck don’t get 4 gear oil refill to the lines on dip stick for the transmission

Hello, I have a 2000 Pontiac Firebird 3800 V6/4L60E with with an electronic Throttle body TAC/APP (accel. pedal) Sensor oem equipped. Is there a way to manually initiate overdrive while driving just for testing. I already throttle body relearned unsuccessfully and temporarily restored cruise control. At present all gears shift except overdrive, and also cruise control only works during testing and or Throttle body relearn. Major issue when I bought this car it sometimes seemed it had a small misfire/cycle/surge at time 4 sec intervals especially while the transmission was in overdrive between 40 - 55 mph approx. It has an electronic throttle body TAC 24507244, 24503399, TB1082 ($850+ 1, 043.99) and an APP ($175+).

Scotti, , PO753 >>> 99 Durango 46RE. Limp mode 3rd gear start and no overdrive. If I ground the ground control from the PCM it shifts perfect with 4th gear and lock up fine too. I found the control wire from the trans relay pin 2, so I could ground it from there not tearing up the PCM harness. I ohmed my ground wire from relay to PCM unplugged and read great so no control wire to ground. Same thing now with Purge solenoid, no ground control. No short to ground on either wire. No ground control from PCM. I think I need PCM, this is my truck, what ya think? Wanted to see if I might hear from ya before I order the PCM tomorrow. ?? Can't expect you to be here all the time, I just thought I might try my luck??
