When in Laguna I also like the trail from the Redtail roost parking lot. When it ends on the fire road you can go right to Escondido ravine and come back up on either the single track or the road or go left to Agua dulce and Gatos.

There's also a little known trail from the observatory parking lot that goes back to Thing valley road. Turn left to return to the highway.

Me and a buddy discovered rights field looking for trails for our RC crawlers, it quickly became one of my favorite morning rides on my mtb because it was close to my home at the time and I could hit a few laps before heading to work.

I have to agree, Los Gatos is a great trail. Its my favorite trail even on my BMX Bike. Not too rocky and not too flat. Perfect for BMX, MTB, XC, and E Bikes. Great Video!

Great vid.

For those that like to get some air, there’s a jump park on the south side of Mission Trails that is a great add-on after riding e-ticket.

I finally made it out of eticket without having to get off the bike! It’s a fun ride especially when you incorporate shepherds loop. I love Los Gatos. I can’t get enough of the Laguna’s. I tortured myself by starting in Pine Valley and made it to Gatos and back. I’m pretty sure I’ll never do that again. Keep up the great videos.

Just watching this gets my heart rate up! Indicator of an excellent video! E-ticket is definitely gnarlier than it looks!

Nice video showing some of San Diego's riding areas. My favorite area is the Laguna Mountains and Los Gatos is definitely outstanding and then we usually hit Big Laguna trail to Noble for a great long ride. I think the videos would be better if you used higher resolution as they seem blurry to me but I am not an expert. Thanks for sharing!

E-ticket is the closest local trail for me, but those climbing needed to loop it or get out is kinda brutal haha

We are hoping to ride Los Gatos tomorrow. I wanted to know if you could share the staging area for Los Gatos and maybe your Relive or Strava links? Always love the work you do documenting the best places to ride in SD!

How do you get back in each of these trails? Do you have to bike up? Coz thats suicide for me

In my opinion you should have left links in the description to the trails on Google maps. I'm having trouble finding it

Really great video. I'm visiting San Diego next week and hoping to do some MTB riding while there. Would you have any suggestions on where to rent a nice full suspension mountain bike to go riding somewhere?

Going to SD for a vacation trip with the family. Probably only getting one half day to ride. Where would you recommend and what shop would you recommend I rent from? Thanks for the video.

Hey man! I love your videos, super informative. I did want to know, because I am moving to San Diego soon, what is the status quo on pedal assist bikes? Are they allowed on the same trails as normal MTBs or are they classified as ebikes? Thank you, keep up the great content!
