I never noticed when Jordan shot that free throw. Rodman already knew it was going in. Wasn’t even paying attention lol

Jordan’s last 4 shots: Free throws (nothing but net) layup high off the glass (nothing but net through the hoop) and the final shot was NOTHING BUT NET. The last 4 shots were from the guy who when you needed to be perfect, was perfect. This is what separates him from every player ever. Not only that but he had the biggest impact on the defensive end at the game AND the offensive end. He willed himself to win that game as he did countless times throughout his career.

Most underrated part of this sequence is that Russell actually swatted the ball in the layup drive but Jordan still finished the play. You can see at 3:00. It's one of those big athletic advantages Jordan had that goes under the radar for a lot of casual fans.

This minute was the pinnacle of basketball history.

This is the reason Jordan is the GOAT. Never backs down and always have score when it is crucial

You just need to watch the last minute against Utah in 98 to understand why he is by far the greatest player of all time. Because he could lift his game in the most decisive moments like no other. i remember it like it was yesterday. Still gives me goosebumps.

45 points in an era where scoring was not high. He had 45 out of the team’s 87. And some people wonder (or don’t understand) why so many think he is the GOAT

People who weren’t there can’t know.
And some who were there still don’t believe.
The GOAT.
Now and forever.

He scores the quick bucket to bring them back into the game at 85-86.

He steals the ball from Malone and then practically by himself brought the Bulls back into the lead and winning the chip by a pull up jumpshot. 87-86

I don’t think there’s any better example of MJ’s overall game and dominance than those last 3 plays.

The last shot Michael Jordan took as a Chicago Bull was a swish, didnt touch the rim. Loved it, and honestly at the time I knew he would make it as soon as I saw the crossover. That was MJ, the crucial times a basket is needed or the last few seconds of play, he would make it virtually every time.

Just amazing. It was the high point in professional basketball.... all brought to us by MJ in his 13 years as a Chicago Bull.

MJ hands raising for # 6 was his way of telling the home crowd, "SSHHH...It's OK.. You calm down now, it's over.."

The GOAT always knows how to win the game. Not just the game, in fact, the whole stadium is under control by one single player. This is how the GOAT is done, be in control of the whole thing, the whole situation. Anyone can be great but to be the GOAT, you gotta know how to control the game, and win it when it matters most.

I’m a Jazz fan through and through. It hurts not to win a championship with Stockton and Malone. But to lose to the GOAT, makes it less painful.
