In this video I will list, explain, and show an example on solving linear equations:
1) move all terms with L to the left side. Move all other terms to the right side OR flip the equation around:
2) factor out an L (if more than on term contains the L);
3) divide both sides by the factor of L.
I will find L=? for P=2W+2L. This is the is the equation of the length of the perimeter equals 2 times the width plus 2 times the length.

The solution shown in the thumbnail is incorrect. It shows "+ W" instead of "- W". The solution in the video is correct of course.
