I really like the AI but for now it's strength appears to be canvas expansion and augmented items in the scene. I'm really interested in what it will be able to do for the subject itself, similar to how you showed it changing the shirt color. I hear eyeglass glare and flyaway hair removal are working pretty well now. I'd love to see the global ability to say "giver her more of a tan" or "remove all tanlines" and it comes out precise. I'd also like to see the ability for the feature to be automated or scripted since it takes awhile to work. Imagine telling it five wish list commands, showing it your folder of images, then going to bed knowing it's intelligently analyzing each image and performing just the items needed on the particular image.

This video, and the way you utilized the Generative AI tool, is fascinating. I feel that the kind of changes you made are quite appropriate under the right circumstances. It brings up the same discussions that happened when Photoshop itself was being popular. There might have to be something embedded in the image metadata so people know when this was used.

Honestly I agree with you about AI, but this is incredible and so helpful!
I was SHOCKED with your sunset photo and self portrait. The mountains looked like where I live, I can't believe it!

Indeed, AI-supported editing like Generative Fill is insane. Maybe due to it's options, as many users don't really understand what's going on behind a certain Photoshop tool and don't use it. I did a short try by changing a colour of a model's dress - it did a pretty good. Still, there are some bugs present, that must be fixed. 😉

Wonder how it is in studio background settings? With adding crazy elements. Seems outside shoots looks like it does well.

Can you do a video on canon mirrorless r6 vs 5d mark 4? Or is there one you recommend? I’m looking to upgrade my canon rebel

Amazing what AI can do (with inspiration ;) Thanks for sharing

Makes me wonder how much intellectual credit Adobe will want since their app created part of the image.

Ai in photography is like autotune in music..it should be used subtly to enhance an already good product not to be overdone or it's no longer art

Not directed at you specifically Anita, but anyone that cares about the environment and their carbon footprint really needs to rethink and limit their use of AI/cloudtools. I think there currently is very little awareness around the energy-costs of AI usage.

While the amount of energy used on the frontend (your computer) is minuscule, the amount of energy being used up behind the scenes at computer-farms is ENORMOUS!

I read in a news-article that a single chatGPT training session puts out around 500 tonnes of CO2 emissions. That’s 1000 cars driving 1000 km’s! And every single AI generated command is equal to leaving a lamp on for 1 hour.
