It's not often you see a player so good it looks like the game is reacting to them instead of the player reacting to the game. Speedrunners often come close, but that was a "Michelangelo painting the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel" level of skill. The amount of hours you have in this game must be at a ridiculous level. Learned quite a few things from you as well and you've earned a sub.

I'm willing to bet that beating the game on Dread mode would be easier than shinesparking in any direction other than up. Now that's the ultimate Metroid Dread challenge right there, right up there with successfully countering EMMI's multiple consecutive times.

Im excited to try this difficulty... I'm right near the end of my first normal playthrough. I used your guide because I'm older now and don't have a lot of time to play so getting lost was taking the fun out of it. yes, I know that's the point of these games. I've 100% completed every previous Metroid (minus the original) among others like Hollow Knight and Symphony of the Night, yada yada but, well... life happened and I enjoyed following along with a guide this time =)
